Windstruments are fully committed to respecting your privacy and protecting any information you provide. Information collected by us will only be used in accordance with this policy.
This policy applies to our physical business and our website and is effective from 29/09/2020.

WHY WE PROCESS YOUR DATA

When you contact us you may elect provide us with information to enable us to take specific steps before entering into a contract. We will use this information to manage your enquiry until a contract is in place or until you inform us that no contract will be entered into.

We do not currently employ any software to encrypt email. You should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit.

When you purchase or use a product or service from us you enter into a contractual agreement. We will obtain personal details from you and store this information in order to properly manage this contract. This may relate to a finance agreement you have with us or a warranty we have agreed to provide. If you believe that there is no contractual basis for us to process your data or should you wish to opt out of receiving contact in this way, please contact us via sales@windstruments.co.uk or by phoning 01423 705770 to arrange an alternative method of contact regarding your agreement with Windstruments Ltd or deletion of your data as appropriate.

 

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

In general we use the information we collect from you to process orders or services you have requested and to inform you when your orders or services are ready.

We do not rent or sell your information to third party companies.

We may share relevant details with Third Party Companies such as couriers or Royal Mail to enable us to fulfil your order request. These companies are not allowed to use your data for any other purpose than to successfully deliver your goods.

If you have specifically asked us to advertise your teaching services then your information may be passed to customers in your area that enquire about that service.

The information you provide may be used to allow access to certain 'member' areas of our website.

If required by law i.e. in instances of fraud or theft, we are obliged to pass your details to law enforcement.
